Resort FAQS

  • One of the finest vacation properties in the entire Okanagan
  • A very high value family-oriented property with easy access to extensive all season recreational amenities
  • Located on the fabulous, warm water lake (Skaha Lake)  in the quiet, restful community of Kaleden, BC  
  • One of the most desirable beaches in the BC Interior
  • The fine sandy beach is only steps away from every cabin
  • Lounge and other beach chairs available
  • Please bring your own beach towel
  • Swim area, including swim lanes, are roped off for your enjoyment and safety
  • There is also a diving platform
  • Safe swim area for children close to shore
  • No lifeguard on duty
  • We have moorage and a boat launch $40.00 per day (+ tax)
  • Boat rental (with driver) for: skiing, wakeboarding, tours – equipment provided
  • Jet Skis are not permitted in order to maintain a quiet atmosphere
  • Canoe, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, row boat and lifejackets available
  • Tennis court – rackets and ball available
  • Basketball court – ball provided
  • Beach volleyball – ball provided
  • Horseshoe pit – shoes available
  • Floating Chipping green – floating golf balls available (bring your clubs).
  • All cottages are fully stocked with lots of towels and quality linens. Please bring your own beach towel.
  • Hand and bath soap included; no other toiletries provided e.g. shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste
  • Toilet paper, paper towel, and facial tissue, all provided.
  • All cabins have full size, fully stocked kitchens
  • Dishes, cutlery, bake ware, pots & pans, cooking utensils, blender, coffee maker, kettle and more included in every cabin
  • Cleaning products also stocked (dish washing soap, all purpose cleaner, pot scrubbers)
  • There is a propane barbecue on every cabin deck
  • We provide the propane

Penticton is only a 10 minute drive north of Ponderosa Point.

  • Excellent road biking options begin right from the resort
  • Part of the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR Trail) runs immediately adjacent to the resort
  • KVR Trail offers a 4 km ride, walk or run to Okanagan Falls at the southern end of Skaha Lake
  • Superb mountain biking trails within 20 kms

There is no smoking within the resort.

Sorry, there are no pets permitted at the Resort.

Check in is 4:00 p.m.

Quiet time at 10:00 p.m. (gate closed).
