Resort FAQS
We are a seasonal resort and closed during the winter. For the 2026 season, we are open May 1, 2026 – October 31, 2026.
Check in is between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. We do not have a 24/7 staffed lobby.
Check out is 10:00am.
There is no smoking within the resort. This includes no smoking in cabins, on cabin decks, or anywhere on resort grounds.
Sorry, there are no pets permitted at the resort.
50% due at time of reservation. 50% remaining due 60 days prior to check in.
- Peak Summer Season and Peak Shoulder Season: Reservations will be refunded only if the cabin can be re-rented. If the cabin cannot be re-rented to another guest, full charges will be due.
- Shoulder Season and Low Season: We require a minimum of ninety (90) days notice prior to check in of any changes or cancellation. Less than ninety (90) days notice from check in will receive no refunds, unless the cabin can be re-rented to another guest.
- Full Resort Exclusive Group Booking: If all available cabins have been reserved exclusively for your group and no outside guests are permitted to book, there are no refunds unless you or the group organizer can find a replacement guest for the cabin. If the cabin cannot be re-rented, full charges will be due.
- There is a propane barbecue on every cabin deck.
- We provide the propane.
- Guests are not permitted to bring their own BBQ grill, smoker, etc.
- All cabins are stocked with bed linens, bathing towels, and kitchen towels.
- Please bring your own beach towels.
- Hand soap, bath soap, toilet paper, facial tissue, and paper towel are all provided.
- Personal toiletries are not provided (example: shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc).
- Peak Summer Season and Week Prior to Peak Summer Season (June 19 – September 5, 2026): Cabin renters are not permitted to have day visitors. Resort access is limited to only registered guests staying in a cabin.
- Outside Peak Summer Season: Cabin renters may be permitted to have a limited number of day visitors, at management discretion. Please coordinate any day visitors with management ahead of time. All day visitors must sign the resort waiver prior to entering the resort.
Resort quiet hours are 10:00pm through 8:00am.
Sorry, we do not have a fire pit and do not permit any fires at the resort.
No, portable campfires and personal propane fire pits/rings are not permitted anywhere on the resort grounds, including on cabin decks.
- We have boat moorage/docking available for $50.00 per night.
- We have premium gas for sale at the resort dock.
- There is a public boat launch in Kaleden at Pioneer Park.
- Jet skis/sea doos are not permitted.
- Canoe, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and row boat available complimentary for guest use.
- Tennis/pickleball court – rackets, paddles, and balls available complimentary for guest use.
- Basketball court – ball provided.
- Beach volleyball – ball provided.
- Horseshoe pit – shoes provided.
- Cornhole boards in center field – bean bags provided.
- All cabins have full size, fully stocked kitchens.
- Dishes, cutlery, bake ware, pots & pans, cooking utensils, blender, coffee maker, kettle and more included in every cabin.
- Cleaning products also stocked (dish washing soap, all purpose cleaner, dishwasher pods, pot scrubbers).

Penticton is only a 10 minute drive north of Ponderosa Point.
- Excellent road biking options begin right from the resort
- Part of the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR Trail) runs immediately adjacent to the resort
- KVR Trail offers a 4 km ride, walk or run to Okanagan Falls at the southern end of Skaha Lake
- Superb mountain biking trails within 20 kms

- There are over 25 wineries within 20 kms.
- There are three wineries in the community of Kaleden – Farm gate, Black Market and Lakeboat.
- There are two golf courses within a 15 minute drive.
