Your cabin
Quiet Time
Please respect a quiet time of 10:00pm – 7:00am. Vehicles are not permitted on the grounds during this time. If you are arriving after 10:00pm or departing prior to 7:00am, we ask that you please be mindful of noise as other guests may be sleeping.
Staff Hours
There is a staff member available daily from 8:30am until 8:30pm and after hours for emergencies. The resort cell phone number is 250-809-7806, which you may call or text. 911 is also available for emergencies.
Guest Registration
Upon check in, all members of your party must be registered under your rental booking so we are aware of who is staying at the resort. Please ensure that all adult members of your party have signed the resort waiver. Please do not give out the resort gate code to anyone outside of your rental booking.
Day Visitors
Cabin renters may be permitted to have a limited number of day visitors; however, it’s at the discretion of the resort. All visitors must be approved by the managers prior to their arrival. Please communicate with the managers ahead of time if you plan to have day visitors. All visitors must sign the resort waiver.
Internet
Internet access is provided in each cabin through individual wireless modems. The network number and password number is recorded on the cabin modem.
Septic
Please remember we are on septic. Do not flush anything other then toilet paper down the toilet.
Housekeeping
We do not provide daily housekeeping services. If you are staying longer than ten days, we will provide a light cabin cleaning, a bed linen change, and fresh towels mid-way through your stay. Please do not help yourself to items on the linen carts or in the housekeeping building.
Bathing Towels
We do not provide fresh bathing towels daily. Please note: We do not provide beach towels and ask that you do not take our white bathing towels to the beach.
For non-summer guests: If you are staying for more than a week and require a mid-stay towel change, please place all used towels in the laundry bag (located in the bathroom vanity), text us (250-809-7806) with what fresh towels you would like, and leave the laundry bag outside your cabin door by noon for pick up. Fresh, laundered towels will be left at your cabin door in a laundry bag that afternoon.
For weekly summer guests: If your cabin is a Friday check in, you will receive fresh towels on Monday. If you are a Saturday check in, you will receive fresh towels on Tuesday. We will text you the morning of your towel change to ask what towels you would like delivered. Please place all used towels in the laundry bag (located in the bathroom vanity) and leave the laundry bag outside your cabin door by noon for pick up. Fresh, laundered towels will be left at your cabin door in a laundry bag that afternoon.
Cleaning Supplies
Basic cleaning supplies and equipment are provided in your cabin for use during your stay. We provide Mint Cleaning products and are proud to support a local B.C. company (products are made in Tofino, BC)! Learn more about their products at mintcleaningproducts.com and @mintcleaning_ on Instagram.
Cabin Furnishings and Kitchen Supplies
Every effort is made to provide you with a comfortable and well equipped cabin. A uniform standard of kitchen items, towels, and bed linen is provided. If you require additional items, please let us know.
Garbage/Recycle
Each cabin has a garbage and recycle bin located just outside your cabin in a wood receptacle. It can be in front of your cabin or on either side of the cabin. We pick up regularly from your cabin’s wood garbage and recycle receptacles, usually in the mid afternoon.
Garbage
There is a plastic garbage bin and garbage bags located under your kitchen sink. Please bag all garbage and take your garbage bag to your outside silver metal garbage located in your cabin wood receptacle. Please do not put trash in outside cabin receptacles after 3pm. We have wildlife that can get into the garbage overnight if left out after garbage pick up.
Recycle
Recycling does not need to be bagged. Please take your recycling to the outside blue bin located in your cabin wood receptacle.
Laundry
The resort does not have on-site guest laundry facilities. We have made arrangements with Washed Up Penticton Laundromat to offer a pick up and drop off laundry service for our guests. Cabin BBQ
If your propane runs out, please let us know. You can either text us (250-809-7806) or ring the office doorbell, and we will deliver a full tank to your cabin.
No Glass
For obvious safety reasons, no glass (bottles, wine glasses, or other glassware) is permitted in the playground area, on the beach, on the beach volleyball court, or in the tennis court. There are plastic glasses in your cabin. If you need more, please ask.
Extra items
If you are wanting something in your kitchen or cabin that you do not see, check with a staff member, we may have one on hand.
Check Out/Departure Procedure:
Check out time is 10:00am. This may seem early, but this time is required to clean and re-stock the cabins for the next arriving guests. We regret that during July and August we are unable to extend this time or offer a late check out. If your stay is outside of July and August, we can sometimes accommodate a later check out if we do not have the cabin scheduled to be cleaned that day. Please check with the managers if you would like to request a late check out.
On departure day, please load and start the dishwasher. Upon leaving, please text 250-809-7806 to let us know you’ve departed. No need to stop at the office on your way out. If you know you will be departing early, please let the managers know as this will assist us greatly with scheduling housekeeping.
Lost and Found
Please remember to check your room for items left behind, including outlets for chargers. Contact the Managers if you have left something. All un-claimed items will be donated at the end of October.
